Duplicate & Transfer Products - User Guide

Requirements

How to create a product

To create your first product, make sure your Shopify has been connected to ShineOn for at least 2–3 days. From anywhere on the app, you should see an option on the top right to Add Product. 



You should see our catalog after clicking Add Product. For a single listing, you can choose any product you wish. For the use of Product Duplication, the following list of products are currently unavailable: 

• Buyer Upload with Message Card products:
  • BU Heart Bangle + POD MC
  • BU Circle Bangle w/ POD MC
  • Dog Tag Buyer Upload with Message Card Feature
  • Heart Buyer Upload (with POD MC)
  • Circle Buyer Upload (w/ POD MC)
  • Buyer Upload Circle Keychain w/ POD MC
  • Buyer Upload Heart Keychain w/ POD MC
  • Dog Tag BU Swivel Keychain + POD MC
    
    
• Products that require SVG Artwork:
  • Enravable Acrylics
  • Enravable Watches
  • Engraved Heart Keychain
  • Engraved Dog Tag Keychain
  • Engraved Heart Necklace
  • Engraved Dog Tag Necklace

Once you've found a product you like, you can upload your artwork with the Select File(s) option. Premade designs can be found on Canto or PODU

Make sure your artwork/file matches your products requirements, or you may get an error when uploading. 



After giving your product a title, you're free to publish it! 



Now you can find your listing under Products, ready to be sold, used as a template or both! 

How to duplicate products

Any product now will work as a template for bulk uploading. First, choose a product to use as your template: 



Once you've selected a product, go to Actions > Duplicate Product. 



Next, choose Select File(s) to upload the artwork for your new products. 



Once you've uploaded your files, you can change the name of your products under each file. When you're ready, you can select Start Batch. 



Once the loading screen with the message, "Adding products to queue" disappears, you're safe to close out of the module. 



You can see your new products in the Products section. 

How to Transfer Products

The ShineOn App lets you transfer products between different sales channels. Each sales channel is a store which has been connected to your ShineOn account; Examples include multiple Shopify stores or a Partner store, connected through ShineOn's API. 

To begin a product transfer, first select the product you would like to transfer.

• (Optional) Download your artwork if needed

Within your selected product, go to Actions > Duplicate Product



From here, click Select file(s) to upload the artwork you would like your duplication(s) to have. 



Once your artwork is uploaded, choose a store via the dropdown menu below and click, "Start Batch"



Once the batch is started, you'll see a loading screen with the message, "Adding products to queue, please don't close this page". Once this message disappears, you're safe to close. 



Now, when you switch to the sales channel selected earlier, you should see the duplicated products in the products tab.
