ShineOn and Meta Pixel only work through Shopify. Here is how to get started.
First, you'll need to create a Meta Pixel.
- Select to connect a New Data Source, then select your data source. In this case, you can select Web
- Once you select your data source and click connect, you'll be given the option to name your Pixel. After you enter a name, select Create Pixel
Once your pixel is created, there is a setting within Shopify you'll need to toggle on before adding your pixel to Shopify:
- Set up the Facebook and Instagram app, by enabling customer data-sharing in Shopify settings > Apps and sales channels.
- From the Apps and sales channels page, go to Facebook & Instagram.
- Then, select Open sales channel.
- From here, go to settings, and then Share data settings.
- In the Customer data-sharing section, toggle Enable data-sharing on.
- Within the Choose data-sharing level section, select Standard, Enhanced, or Maximum.
- Select your pixel from the list and confirm.
Now that you've enabled data sharing for your pixel, it's time to connect it to your Shopify.
- From your Pixel, go to Add Events & choose Add New Integration
- Then, choose Meta Pixel and select Set Up
- Go to Use partner integration and select Get Started
- You'll see a screen that says to Choose a partner. From here, select Shopify
