Shopify has recently updated their UI for new stores. This guide shows how to give access for both the old & new layout. Compare your Shopify settings with both layouts to see which store version you have.
New Layout
Here is how to give access to your Shopify store, with the new layout.
First:
- Go to your Shopify Admin
- Go to Settings on the bottom left
- Find the Users tab
- On the top right, select Add users
- Under Emails, enter the email of the user you'd like to give access to.
- Next, we'll need to assign that user a role. For launchpad@shineon.com, make sure you select Administrator
- Here, you're able to review your permission summary before giving access to the user. A check means the user has permission to make a change or edit, whereas an X means access is denied.
- Before saving, there is an option to enable two-step verification for the user gaining access. This choice is optional.
- At the top of the page, where the search bar is located, select Save
How to generate a collaboration code on new layout
