Do you want to sell on the world's largest online retailer? There are two ways to sell on Amazon using ShineOn. If you are a larger store with products you have already scaled successfully, then you should try using the Amazon FBA program.

Otherwise, if you want to keep it small and sell quantities of products of less than 20, you can follow this method.

Selling on Amazon is a great way for you to boost your sales and visibility of your products, and can be a huge boon for your store. However, it comes with its own series of challenges to overcome, and a few prerequisites.

Currently, ShineOn does not support direct integration with Amazon, though many of our sellers have seen success by using third party services in combination with our services to bridge the gap, and sell on multiple stores which aren't directly supported - including Amazon.

So while we don't currently support selling on Amazon through direct integration, Some sellers have reached out with their own methods, and we can use those, to point you in the right direction.

How it works.

Because there is no direct ShineOn integration with Amazon, a great way to sell there is to use our Shopify app, and then a third party Shopify app by CedCommerce.

Please note that ShineOn is not affiliated with CedCommerce, and there may be other third party methods you can use. We provide this guide for information only, and your results may vary. 

This combination allows you to create ShineOn products which can then be posted to Amazon, orders for these products will then sync and be fulfilled automatically.

Let's look at what's required.

Recommended prerequisite - Some experience.

If you have yet to sell anything at all with ShineOn or have little experience with POD selling, selling on Amazon can be quite an advanced topic. This is because it requires an understanding of multiple systems and apps, and how they all work together.

In addition, Amazons rules and guidelines around selling can be quite strict compared to other marketplaces or running your own store. So, some experience with handling customer service queries with your own store might be beneficial.

If you're a beginner, we recommend you try selling ShineOn another way first, This way you can learn a little bit about the whole process, before expanding your knowledge to this more complex topic.

The process of getting set up to sell on Amazon will take some time to get right. You will be required to provide identification to Amazon and - depending on which market you want to sell in - you may need to open an online bank account and verify your ID there, as well.

As such, getting set up for Selling on Amazon may take a few days or weeks to complete correctly because of these checks.

Pre-requisites - Amazon Seller Account.

There are a few things you require before you can begin selling on Amazon.

The first and most obvious is an Amazon Seller account.

There are two types of seller accounts:

• Individual Seller
• Professional Seller

The largest differences between the two are that a professional seller account is not free, and requires a subscription. Paying for this subscription allows you access to various additional tools, including the Amazon Seller API, which allows stores to automate various parts of the process.

For the vast majority of sellers, the individual seller account is fine, it is free, and allows you to quickly start manually listing and posting your ShineOn products. Any tutorials and guides found here will be using processes applicable to an Amazon individual account.

Registering for an Amazon seller account of any kind will require your identification to be submitted to checks by Amazon. You will need to follow this process - which can take a few days or weeks, depending on your location - before you get access to your seller account and are able to continue.

Pre-requisites - A bank account in the country you would like to sell in.

Note that your bank details must be from the same country as the marketplace you are selling in.

For example, if you are selling on amazon.com, you will need an American bank account to receive payment in USD.

If you do not have this, you can use an online service like Payoneer or Wise to set up a bank account in the destination country, and then use those details.

Pre-requisites - Shopify account.

You will also need a Shopify account, so that you can use the ShineOn Shopify app to create products and sync orders.

Basic, Shopify or Advanced subscriptions are compatible with direct integration. Shopify Lite is Not Recommended, as some features require perks from Shopify's higher tiers.

Pre-requisites - ShineOn App.

You'll need to install the ShineOn Shopify app to your store, and create a ShineOn account.

Our "selling on Amazon" guides assume you have already done this, and have a good understanding of how the ShineOn Shopify App works, and how to do things like create products using the ShineOn Account.

Pre-requisites - CedCommerce for Amazon.

In addition to the ShineOn app, you'll also need the CedCommerce app for Amazon>Shopify integration installed on your Shopify.

This app is the missing link which will allow you to connect your Shopify and Amazon accounts. However, you don't need to sign up or install this just yet, as we will cover this in the set-up guide.
