Gift Wrap My Order - Upsell

ShineOn is revamping one of our most popular upsells! Merchants have had the ability to include a gift wrap upsell with any one item sold. However, this upsell has been upgraded! 

Starting now, merchants can enable the Gift Wrap My Order upsell for up to 5 items in their customer's cart. Please note, this feature is available for Shopify users only

How To Start

We'll need to publish the gift wrap upsell as a standalone product through the ShineOn app. To get started, you can access the upsell via This Link, or find it in our Catalog under: 

• Catalog > Accessories > Upsell 

• For convenience, it would be good to title this, "Gift Wrap My Order"  

• After the title, you're safe to Publish
  
  

Requirements

Once your upsell is published, it will act as a listing, which, when selected using any 3rd party Shopify upsell app, will enable the gift wrap on multiple items in a cart. Provided you use a Cart Drawer.
In total, you will need: 

• Shopify Basic account or higher
• Any 3rd party Shopify upsell app of your choice
• Cart Drawer, enabled in Shopify > Online Store > Themes > Customize > Theme settings > Cart > Cart type > Drawer
• ShineOn Starter tier or higher
• No more than 5 items at a time per cart 
• In Shopify, uncheck, "This is a physical product"

Compatible Products

Currently, these are the compatible products which apply to this upsell feature:

• Jewelry
  • Any jewelry that comes in the Standard box or Luxury box will be gift wrapped with silver wrapping paper & a red bow. 
• Wallets, Metal Wallet Cards, and Acrylic Ornaments
  
  • These products will likewise be gift wrapped with silver wrapping paper & a red bow. 
• Watches
  
  • All watches will include the DIY gift bag kit. 
• Acrylics
  
  • All Acrylic products, engraved or graphic, will also include the DIY gift bag kit. 
• Faux Leather journal
  
  • Our Faux Leather journal will include a DIY gift bag kit. 

Additionally

Ensure that, "This is a physical product" is unchecked within Shopify, or else customers may be double charged for shipping. 

To find this option: 

• Access to the upsell on Shopify

• Once you've accessed the upsell, scroll down & uncheck, "This is a physical product" 

• Once saved, you're good to go!
