Create your first Etsy listing!
Now that you have linked your ShineOn Account and Etsy accounts together. It's time to make your first product.
Products created via your ShineOn Account are created on Etsy as draft listings. You will then need to add some details to the listing on Etsy before publishing it.
This guide will run through how to do all of that.
This guide assumes you have already created a ShineOn product before and are familiar with the process. if you haven't - check out this guide.

Choose your Etsy sales channel
First, Log in to your ShineOn Account, and make sure you have your Etsy sales channel selected at the top of the dashboard.
Click My Products
Click All Products
Click the Drop-Down box and ake sure your Etsy store is selected.
Create your product
Click Create New Product
Choose a product and click Create Product
Upload your artwork
Update the title and description of the product, etc
The maximum length for a title is 140 characters.
The following characters may only be used once in a title: % : &
The following characters may not be used: $ ^ `
Titles may not contain more than three words in all capital letters. Please use both upper and lower case letters in your titles. If you're syndicated for Google Shopping, you should also make sure your titles follow the guidelines Google has set for this service.
Click the Shipping Template drop-down box and choose your shipping template you created when setting up Etsy Integration. Don't have the shipping profile? You probably missed some steps when setting up the Etsy integration. You can recap that here.
- If you have created products on other sales channels before, you will notice this page looks a little different. You can change the prices of variants here, but you cannot disable them. That it because this will be managed later, when editing your Etsy Listing.
Click Create Listing

Find the listing on Etsy
We're nearly done! Just a few more things to take care of on Etsy before your product goes live.
Head to Etsy, and go to your store manager.
- Click on your new listing to begin editing it.
Set your production partner (that's us!)
There are multiple things you can edit and customize on this page to get your listing just right. But the two most important things we need to do first are setting your product type, and setting your production partner.
Under Listing Details. Go to About this Listing
Set the three drop-down boxes to Another Company or person, A finished product, Made to order
Scroll down to Production Partners
Finally, under Delivery, select the shipping profile.
- You can now move forward to finishing up your listing.
Get everything just right
The listing page has multiple options for you to set to make sure everything is perfect for your product.
At the top of the page, you can add more photos, or re-arrange the order of them. You can also adjust the product thumbnail.
Further down under Listing Details, you can set your Recipient. And down further still, you can set tags for your product to help your niche find it.
Finally, near the bottom, variants of your product can be switched on and off.
Fill out as much information as you would like on this page. Once you are done, click Publish.
Once you have paid Etsy's listing fee, you're done!
Your listing will now be live on your Etsy store.
